Overturista
Recently, my entire family left me alone at home for three weeks. Winter was up at camp working as a staffer, Amanda and the girls were in Merida, Mexico, and Viv was in Spain. I took advantage of the time alone to watch movies, catch up with friends and write music. A friend at work loaned me three Teenage Engineering Choir members and another friend loaned me a couple of synths. I took over the dining room table and just started exploring. Only one person wasn’t allowed in: The Critic. I noodled and played and experimented and discovered and this track is the result. It’s called overturista and I’m super happy with how it turned out.
